Cabinet Replacement Services

Cabinets set the tone — and the storage — of your entire kitchen. When doors are warped, drawers stick, finishes are peeling or the layout wastes half the corners, cabinet replacement is the single change that makes a kitchen feel new. This service covers complete cabinet replacement in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and built-ins, from design help and product selection through installation and finishing hardware.

Stock, Semi-Custom and Custom — What Fits Your Project

Stock cabinets come in standard sizes with the fastest turnaround and the lowest cost, and modern stock lines offer far better construction than the builder boxes of twenty years ago. Semi-custom lines add sizing flexibility, specialty storage and a wider finish palette — the choice most of our clients make. Fully custom cabinetry is built to the exact dimensions of your room and makes sense for unusual layouts or a specific furniture-grade look. We will measure your space, show you where each tier gains or gives up something, and price the options honestly so you can choose with real numbers.

Storage That Works Harder

A replacement project is your one chance to fix storage properly: deep drawers instead of low cabinets for pots and pans, a pull-out trash and recycling center, tray dividers over the oven, a lazy Susan or blind-corner pull-out that actually reaches the back, and tall pantry cabinets where the wall allows. Soft-close hinges and drawer glides come standard on the lines we install. For bathrooms, we replace vanities with cabinet and drawer combinations sized to your plumbing, including double vanities where the room is wide enough.

Our Installation Process

We start by verifying every measurement and the condition of the walls and floor — cabinets can only be as level and plumb as what they sit on, and we shim and scribe accordingly. Old cabinets are removed and hauled away, walls are prepped, and any electrical or plumbing adjustments for the new layout are completed before the first box is set. Installation proceeds from the uppers or lowers depending on the design, followed by crown and light rail molding, toe kicks, hardware, and final door-and-drawer alignment. If your project includes new counters, we template after the cabinets are set so your countertops fit exactly.

Refacing vs. Replacing

If your cabinet boxes are solid and the layout already works, refacing — new doors, drawer fronts and veneer over the existing boxes — can refresh the look for less. We will tell you straight if your boxes are good candidates; particleboard boxes with water damage at the sink base or sagging floors usually are not. When replacement is the smarter spend, we will show you why, in person, at the cabinet itself.

What It Costs and What Drives It

Cabinet budgets are driven by three things: the tier you choose (stock, semi-custom or custom), the number of cabinets and specialty storage pieces, and how much layout change is involved. Moving a sink or range means plumbing and electrical work beyond the cabinet line items, and we price those transparently on the same estimate rather than surprising you mid-project. During the consultation we measure, count boxes and talk through door styles and finishes, then give you a detailed written estimate. Many clients phase the project — cabinets and counters now, flooring next season — and we are happy to plan the sequence so nothing gets installed twice.
