Countertop Installation Services

Countertops take more daily abuse than any other surface in your home — hot pans, knives, coffee, red wine, homework, and the occasional science project. Our countertop service covers selection, templating, fabrication coordination and installation for kitchens, bathroom vanities, laundry rooms and bars, whether the counters stand alone as an upgrade or arrive as part of a full kitchen remodel.

Choosing Your Material

Quartz is the most requested material in our projects: engineered for consistency, non-porous so it never needs sealing, and available in everything from solid colors to convincing marble looks. Granite remains a favorite for natural movement and heat tolerance; it is sealed at installation and benefits from periodic resealing. Marble delivers a classic look with softer, more maintenance-sensitive behavior that suits bathrooms and baking stations. Butcher block and solid-surface materials round out the options for islands and specialty spaces. We will compare cost, care and durability for your household — a family that cooks nightly has different needs than a rarely used guest bath.

Templating and Fit

Great counters start with an exact template. After your cabinets are set and verified level (see our cabinet replacement service if yours are being changed), the fabricator measures the run precisely, including sink centerlines, cooktop cutouts, overhangs and seam placement. We coordinate that visit, confirm edge profiles — eased, beveled, ogee, waterfall ends — and review seam locations with you before fabrication so there are no surprises on install day.

Installation Day

Old counters are removed and disposed of, the new material is set and leveled, seams are joined and color-matched, and sinks are mounted. Plumbing reconnection — faucet, disposal, dishwasher lines — is handled under the same contract because Mars Construction Industries holds the plumbing classification too. We finish with a walkthrough on care: what cleaners to use, what to avoid, and how your specific material ages.

Counters as a Standalone Upgrade

If your cabinets are in good shape, new countertops plus a tile backsplash can transform a kitchen without a full renovation. We will inspect the existing cabinets for level and structural soundness first — counters should never be set on failing boxes — and give you a straight answer on whether a surface-level project makes sense for your home.

Edge Profiles, Sinks and Backsplashes

The details finish the job: an eased edge reads modern, a full bullnose feels traditional, and a waterfall end turns an island into furniture. We help you choose an undermount, apron-front or integrated sink that suits the material, and coordinate faucet and accessory holes at fabrication so nothing is drilled on site by guesswork. For the backsplash, full-height stone continues the counter material up the wall for a seamless look, while tile adds pattern and color — we install both and will show you samples against your actual slab choice under your kitchen’s lighting before you commit.
